Our favorite kind of email

Stephanie Morales is basking in the glow of having earned a college degree. She’s the first in her family to have done so. We can only imagine the places Stephanie will go with her civil engineering degree from San Diego State University. Her family is overjoyed.

After receiving her thank you email, we too are basking in Stephanie’s glow. She told us her San Diego Education Fund scholarship “played a vital role in helping me achieve a milestone that once felt out of reach.

“Your investment in my education not only eased the financial burden on my family but also allowed me to focus on my academic and professional goals,” Stephanie said. “Thanks to your help, I was able to take full advantage of internships, join student organizations, and lay the foundation for a meaningful career in engineering.

“This scholarship was more than financial assistance—it was a vote of confidence that kept me motivated and committed during challenging moments. I hope to one day pay that generosity forward by mentoring and supporting other students on their path to higher education.”
